Wees welkom op deze meditatieve sound bath om jezelf meer in resonantie te brengen. Een klankrijke reis met gongs, kristallen klankschalen, stem, fluiten en andere boventooninstrumenten. Tijdens het klankconcert laat je je meevoeren door een golf van klanken. De klanken maken je onderbewuste schoon en brengen je in een staat van diepe rust en expansie van je bewustzijn. Door de geluidstrillingen kunnen spanningen en blokkades in het lichaam vrijkomen en creëer meer ruimte voor de opening van het hart, het activeren van doorstroming in en rond het lichaam en energie beter door te laten stromen.
Join us for a sound bath journey in Bergkerk in the heart of Deventer on Friday 23rd of January. A former place of worship, with parts dating from the 12th century, dedicated to Saint Nicholas, and with outstanding acoustics. Lie down on your comfortable mat on the floor, letting the sound bathe your body and carry the mind, as the sound gently washes over you. The ethereal sounds of multiple gongs played together, bronze and crystal singing bowls, soothing vocals, and calming flute sounds.
The session usually begins with sounds of singing bowls or a variety of instruments, and then the gongs are gently invited to start sounding, gradually building the sound with a growing myriad of harmonics. These then gently fade to a variety of more grounding sounds towards the end, when complete silence pervades allowing you to be in this profound and powerful stillness for a short time.
The sounds facilitate a shift in brainwaves from our normal waking state to alpha and theta states that are akin to meditation and where true somatic healing occurs. The sounds can cleanse the subconscious and bring you into a state of deep rest and expansion of the consciousness. Tensions and blockages in the body can be released, creating more space for the opening of the heart and allowing energy to flow better.
Everyone will feel intense vibrations surrounding their body throughout the session. Some may receive these vibrations and drift to a meditative state while others may experience emotional release. Whatever you feel is fine, so allow your feelings to come and go. Being open in this manner will help you release deep-rooted emotions.
The sound bath is a wonderful opportunity to let go of old stagnant energies and thought patterns letting the sounds and vibrations of the instruments cleanse what no longer serve you.

De sound bath duurt ruim 1,5 uur
Neem een matje, kussen en deken mee zodat je je volledig kan ontspannen.
***Please note that this is a lying-down sound bath. You have to bring your own mattress, blanket or sleeping bag, pillow and any other accessories to lie down as comfortably as possible on the floor.

Ticket policy:
The ticket is not refundable with two weeks before the event.
In case of refund the ticket service fee of €1,- is not refunded.
You have the option to transfer your ticket one time to a future event, free of charge up to three days before the event.
Any cancellations starting with 20 January and no show tickets are not transferable.
